Welcome to the Word of Adam
Adam Riley, Operations Director at Cubed3, UK Voice Actor, Editor
Word of Adam is the home base of Adam Riley.  However, who is Adam Riley?  Many will know him as the purveyor of writing expertise at UK-based website Cubed3, rising from a mere contributor when the website launched in 2003 to becoming Operations Director at the end of 2011.  On the side, though, Adam has been building up work in other areas.  Other than writing for numerous websites and doing editing for scripts, male voice over work has become a strong feature, whilst working alongside developers to provide feedback on new videogame projects in a project consultancy role, offering new ideas to further games.  All the while working as a Track Design Engineer at Network Rail, and looking after his lovely wife.  Maybe 'expert juggler' should be added to his Curriculum Vitae as well...

Rising Star Confirms Carrier Command for US on Xbox 360

by Adam Riley on 06/28/12

Rising Star Games has announced a partnership with independent game developer Bohemia Interactive to bring action-packed, strategy title Carrier Command: Gaea Mission to North American shores this fall. Coming to the Xbox 360 and Windows PC, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission brings a modern update to the classic 1980s Carrier Command. A strategy-based game, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission offers a unique combination of first- and third-person action. The game features a deep story set in a massive environment with more than 30 unique islands hosting six distinct climate zones. Alongside their rag-tag crew, players will mount a powerful campaign to control a network of island bases set within the universe. Commanders must manage multiple vehicles in real-time while acquiring and manufacturing upgrades, weapons and enhancements to guarantee victory on the battlefield.

"Joining forces with Bohemia Interactive is another step in the right direction for our company," said Phil Robinson, VP of Rising Star Games, Inc. "We are committed to enhancing our U.S. portfolio with top-quality titles and Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is a perfect example of that promise."

"The original Carrier Command was an inspiration for me joining the video game industry, and it's an honour to be creating the re-imagined version of the title 25 years later," said Marek Spanel, CEO and founder of Bohemia Interactive. "We have a passionate team that is dedicated to making a game that continues the Carrier Command legacy and we are thrilled to be working with Rising Star Games to bring this title to the US."

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will be available Q3 2012 for Xbox 360 for USD59.99 and Windows PC for USD49.99.
